The functionality that Apple was striving for, was for those who mainly use cell phones & laptops, something that is more portable than a laptop, but with the ease of a cellular device, the iPad does not have Phone functionality though.

Well what can it do?

This little gadget is remarkable. The Battery is slated to last up to 10 hours. Not bad huh? From the iBookstore you are able to download a Novel by Stephen King, or Stephanie Meyer.

There is NO camera app. or a SMS app. Nor can it multitask. Which is setback to some. To top it all off there is no Flash support.

That is going to be the dealbreaker for the iPad.

The pricing starts at $499 for 16GB, 32GB for $599, and $699 64GB. Adding 3G costs a $130 per model, so the most expensive model (64GB / 3G) is $829. The WiFi-only model will ship in 60 days, and the 3G models will come in 90.
