Modified Magazine X Tuner Shootout-Drift Event

Good Afternoon to all! Going down this SATURDAY (April 10th) is the annual Modified Magazine Tuner Shootout. It was a very big turn out last year. This year i will be entering and driving the Hyperdrive segment, and the drift sessions.

GoGo Dancers, beer, fast cars, what else is needed? Last year there was a Bugatti Veyron there, It was a site to see, along with a slew of other awesome vehicles.

TIME: This is an all day event, ranging from 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM the next day.

ENTRY: Remember people if you are going to come and show your support please please bring a canned food item for $5 off your entry fee. Otherwise you will be paying $10.

KIDS: Have a kid no problem! NASA will be setting up a Bouncy House play area for children from 3pm – 8:30pm to give children a place to play, have fun, burn off some of that energy and help make a family trip to the race track just little easier!

I am really looking forward to improving my overall awareness on the track, and skill as a drifter.

You will take the I10 south (Coming from Phoenix), and take exit 162 Wildhorse Pass, make a right, then the next left (At Chevron).

The AREA will be there! RAiDZ will be drifting.The gates open up TOMORROW at 5pm, and the event starts at 6pm.

Today has been a great day so far, has not it? If you day is feeling a little blue, throw on some Muevete from the Music section. The night will be even better, why you may ask.

Simply because of a special event going on at Firebird Raceway in Chandler, Arizona this evening, Drift & Drag. Best bet is to arrive early due to rush-hour traffic, but the event starts at 6:00 PM and lasts until midnight.

The AREA will also be there in full force, only a few of us will be drifting though. I brought my camera so we can record some videos and post them up later on.

I will be there in a silver S13 coupe, so if you see me come holla at me. If you have a helmet, i will give you a ride along (just ask)!

Do not know where Firebird Raceway is? Do not fret! Raidz has you covered.

It will not be in the main entrance, there is a side entrance if you are going to be drifting. To spectate it will set you back $10. To drift $40, to drag is $30. To both, drag & drift it will be $50.
