Today I went to an Asian Diner called Pei Wei for lunch with my parents. The food here was amazingly delicious, great service, friendly environment, a bit elegant, but affordable (a little bit more than Panda Express, but without a question worth it). It was my first time at this place, but definitely not my last. Now it is time to go back to work, hope you all had a fabulous lunch as well. Thanks for visiting TheAREA!

Susi! California Roll!

A couple of friend called me to have dinner with them at Susi 101 in Tempe. Of course I took this opportunity and went on over. I was glad to finally take out to dinner and pay for one of my friends that helped me during my math winter course. By the way, I forgot to mention I earned a B in my math class! What a way to celebrate an academic accomplishment.

Ah! Just what I have been craving for the longest time ever! A Chilindrina! Chilindrinas are made of flour chicharron garnished with shredded cabbage, diced cured pork skins, tomato, sour cream and avocado slices. Yes, it was delicious! I have to thank my boy Manny Fresh for making this for me!

THANKSGIVING…

This year’s Thanksgiving I celebrated the holiday at my aunt’s house in Peoria. I was blessed to see a couple of my cousins from Chihuahua, Mexico come over and visit on this special day. The food was amazingly delicious. I enjoyed the tasteful turkey, the ‘just right’ buttery smashed potatoes with homemade gravy, and of course, the ribs with the splendid sauce my uncle made.
After dinner, we played a super fun board game my cousin brought from Mexico. The concept of the game was to name various places, streets, famous individuals, sports team, food items, etc that began with the letter landed when rolled a dice with every letter in the alphabet. Also, I had the privilege to converse and get to meet my cousin’s husband. Dude was totally outgoing and very down to earth.
I am thankful for everything, especially the people around me that are always there to show support and stand by me on my worst and on my best. I really hoped I had my immediately family present this Thanksgiving, unfortunately they are still in Mexico. I hope to see them soon. God is love, and God bless.

Of course I could not have said no to that; put everything to the side and said let’s go! We went to Chipotle. Ah, had such a good time; I was hungry! We also went to Arizona Mills and Fashion Square Mall. Sal was jocking so much on my Coach wallet that he decided to purchase himself one similar to mine, but black. While at the Coach store, I was able to grasp a sense of the Coach cologne. Let me tell you, that cologne is the business. I think that is my next purchase.
