DR DRE x I NEED A DOCTOR x FT EMINEM x SKYLAR GREY
Here is a new collaboration between Dr. Dre and Eminem titled “I Need A Doctor”. The track serves a response to the doc’s absence from the music industry. Alex Da Kid produced this track and it has been sai that it could become the first Detox-single, whereas “Kush” is supposed to be the street single. A recent interview with the British producer, however, indicates that this track is off the re-release of Eminem’s Recovery.
Alex Da Kid is a great producer, he does the job. However, my concern is that this is Dr. Dre’s anticipated album and I would want to hear nothing but Dr. Dre’s work. By having another producer making beats and having Dr. Dre rap on it for Detox, I feel like it takes away the authenticity from the album. I want pure Dr. Dre beats and him rapping on it. Nonetheless, the second verse by Eminem was the best!
