Now, mind you, his album is a collage of sounds. It has one consistent theme, but you really have to be some type of weirdo to be able to do that. It’s like turning on the drop of a dime, in a car. A Maybach on a two-lane highway making a fucking U-turn.”

After completely reading the article, I have a new found respect for Kanye West. Granted yes, the stuff he has pulled on Twitter, and the VMA’s are a little bit mum. But as a musician, you have to give it to Mr. West. The man can make some G.O.O.D. music, plain and simple.
But the time and effort he devotes to his craft is nothing less but exceptional. I mean booking a whole studio in Hawaii for 6 months. That has to open up some creativity. Surrounded by the surreal Hawaiian landscape, with the scent of the fresh Ocean breeze hitting your nostrils. What more can you ask for? Some may not like Kanye’s album. But if you view it from an art perspective, you can see The Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy unfolding as Mr. West portrays a story like no other. Call him a perfectionist, call him an innovator. He has proved himself more then ever, all we can do is enjoy his musical journey.
