In Honor of the late Tupac Shakur, I will take you on a timeline of the most famous 2pac songs. Due to the extensive catalog of 2Pac, i will try to keep this simple & Sweet. 2Pac has only released 6 studio albums, before his untimely death, the other 5 (+1 coming in 2010/11) albums released are all vaulted material recorded by 2pac, almost as if he knew his was going to die.. Yesterday 2Pac would have turned 41 years old. Can you imagine if he was still alive? Follow me as I take you back in time on 2Pac’s elaborate musical career.

It all started off in 1991 with Same Song, by Digital Underground featuring the young 2Pac (Eazy-E & Dr. Dre Cameo at 2:52):

Also in 1991 2pacalypse Now was released, with the single Brenda’s Got A Baby:

In 1993 Strictly for my N.I.G.G.A.Z. came around, then came forth, I get Around:

Off that same album, Keep Ya Head Up:

1995, Me Against the World Released, with Dear Mama:

1996. All Eyez on Me Double Album. California Love:

Also on All Eyez On Me, 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted:

1996, Was released as a single song with no album attached, Hit ‘Em Up:

in 1996 two month’s After 2Pac’s death, The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory released, To Live and Die in L.A.:

2pac said it best, ‘It wouldn’t be L.A. Without Mexicans’

Off the same album is the infamous, Hail Mary:

In 1997, released was R U Still Down? (Remember Me), with Do For Love:

2001, Until the End of Time, with Until the the End of Time:

2002, Better Dayz, with Thugz Mansion:

2004, Loyal to the game, with Ghetto Gospel:

2006, Pac’s Life, with Pac’s Life:

Yes I left out a lot of tracks on purpose, it was only to show you the mainstream singles, from early in his career to now. Would I like to have put Shorty Wanna be a thug, and All Eyez On Me in this post, yes. But those tracks and an arsenal of others are in the noticeable mention category. I would prefer to listen to those rather than the mainstream overall with any type of genre of music.

In retrospect, 2Pac was an amazing artist, along with a slew of other things. His musical ability, and poetic thought process. Nearly paved the way for artists today. Granted yes, it was very unfortunate that 2Pac lost his life at 25 years young. But during his years living, he recorded music to help us to get through the days. Whether it is music to ride to with your boys/girls, or to help out when times are bad, when you think that nobody is going through your situation, and does not understand you. BUT there is. Just put on some music, and let the artist paint the picture, and go on a musical journey.
