WIZ KHALIFA x FINALLY LANDS MAJOR RECORD LABEL
Seems like Rick Ross will have to be a patient man if he wants Wiz Khalifa to join him on Maybach Music as Atlantic Records announced the budding hip-hop emcee as their newest signee. Wiz has been quickly rising in popularity since the release of his Kush & Orange Juice mixtape in April of this year. This mixtape is currently ranked as the most popular mixtape of all time on the premier mixtape website DatPiff.com. A large part of Wiz Khalifa’s independent successes have come from his massive online presence and his passionately loyal fans who are simply referred to as Taylor Gang. Wiz Khalifa’s MySpace page has received well over 30 million plays, he’s liked by over 400,000 Facebook members and has over 200,000 followers on Twitter. And, yes, up until this point Wiz Khalifa has been an independent artist.
Also just announced, Wiz Khalifa is set to headline on the 50-city Waken Baken Tour of North America, with special guest Yelawolf, which begins September 16, 2010. Look out for Wiz and the Taylor Gang in a town near you!

Ross’ label could have been a good look. Rawsey always comes with those fire beats though. Now imagine Wizz on one of those beats? But Atlantic has an arsenal of artists, B.o.B., BG, Kid Rock, Metallica, Yung Joc, T.I., Diddy, Trey Songz, just to name a few.
Extremely interesting blog post. Your article is very interesting. I liked this post. This blog post is good! I have to say that after continually reading terrible as in, same old ideas, little quality content, etc. blog posts on other sites, it’s pleasant to actually read something that has some thought put into it. It’s a pleasure to read good content, especially after continually seeing rehashed %$!# that writers and bloggers are throwing out nowadays. It’s always nice when I come across content that actually has value, I’ve been seeing a ton of subpar writing attempts recently. Anyhow, thanks again and I’ll check back often to see what else you have to offer. I’ll check back in the future to see what else you have up your sleeve. Keep up the high-quality work! BTW, I like your site design, but your header image was only loading half way for me. P.S. Your header is messed up a bit in IE. The problem could be on my end but I thought you might want to look into that.
