INDOOR SOCCER SEASON
First let me begin by saying last week was our final indoor soccer game. My initial goal was to become champions and I to lead my team with the most goals scored. Although I had not played in a soccer team three years prior to this season and having no condition, I had set my goals high.
Excitedly, I can say, we won 4-1 our last game of the season! Unfortunately, I did not meet my initial goal, but I am definitely very proud of my team and I; we earned forth place! Also, I was not the one to lead my team with the most goals scored, I came second. Personally, although I did not accomplish my goals, this was a huge accomplishment!
On another note, today was our first game of the new season. We played the champions! It was a great game! I scored a goal from our shootout mark! Classic! The goalie was running back while the ball I had kicked was in the air, the goalie jumped up, not being able to fully stop the ball with his right hand and falls… allowing me to score my goal! Sadly we lost 7-3. However, we were tired 3-3 until the last ten minutes of the game, where the true champions showed they had more condition then us.
