VOLUNTEERING x CRISIS NURSERY
Once again, I made way to volunteer with Crisis Nursery, a foster care center. Every moment I get to spend with these kids, makes me realize we should never take our love ones for grant, stop being mad at the world all the time, take time to appreciate our surroundings, let our love one know we love them, be humble, and most importantly, enjoy life and help those in need. I had a blast playing basketball, driving hot-wheel cars with my hand across the living room, making silly faces with the kids, to relaxing and eating popcorn, drinking lemonade and watching Peter Pan with the kids. Looking forward to volunteering again.
I agree completely. Do we all take life for granted – Yes we do. I try to instill that people should live worry and stress free. To sit back and just look at a glass of water and state that it is half full. Instead of half empty. But that will not happen.
As you stated above, you must try to enjoy your surroundings. Live regret free. Life is too short. You only get 1 shot at life. Will you today knowing that you will die tomorrow, be currently satisfied with your life? Milk out everyday, take full advantage, because you never know when it will be your last.
